Birmingham: Stoney Lane

HQ,1,2,3 Warwickshire Battery
AC 3rd S Midland Brigade RFA

This site has been redeveloped but is still in the hands of the TA. The original drill hall was built in 1903 and demolished in 1988. The new building retains the original foundation stone to the '1st Warwickshire Royal Garrison Artillery (Volunteers)', laid on the 18th of July 1903 by Field Marshal the Rt. Hon. F. S. Earl Roberts, and memorial plaques to the dead of two world wars.
Thank you to Hilary Watts for the photograph of the memorial.
