The Times Friday March 20th 1914: ‘Lord Roberts yesterday opened a new drill hall at Egham, built at a cost of £3,000 for the local company of the 6th Batt. East Surrey Regiment’. The address may have been High street but we do not have satisfactory confirmation of this at present.
